RUN FOR HOPE
– (formerly known as The Terry Fox Run) embarks on its 15th year in Singapore
raising much-needed funds for local cancer research.
Terry Fox, a Canadian youth, diagnosed with bone
cancer and an amputee, started running and collecting C$1 from everyone he met
along the way, determined to raise funds for cancer research.
Unfortunately, he passed away before he could finish
crossing the country and died at the age of 22. His legacy and ‘marathon of
hope’ live on and you can support this worthy cause by signing up and/or
forming teams to participate!
